 Family and Community Engagement

The goal of the Family and Community Engagement (FACE) Department is to ensure families and community members are partners in the education process. We recognize these partnerships as vital for the success of each student.

To achieve this goal, the FACE department provides schools with support in developing programs for families, and by connecting our schools with the many resources our community offers.  Our team is committed to family education, community partnerships and connecting volunteers to our schools.

 District Parent Advisory Council

DPAC is a group of parents who play active roles in the direction of our school district. Parents serve as the direct communication link between the RPS 205 administration and other parent leaders. DPAC also works in connection with the Family and Community Engagement Department. DPAC is an opportunity for parents to learn about how they can be most effective in encouraging parent involvement within their schools and our district to obtain parental feedback.
