The RPS 205 Student Records Department maintains records only for inactive students and RPS 205 graduates.

If you have a student currently attending an RPS 205 school, please contact that school directly for records. 

Effective April 29, 2022, in an effort to provide an enhanced and more secure service for students and agencies, all former student records requests including graduation verifications, immunizations, official high school transcripts, unofficial records and records requests must be made using our online student records request system, ScribOrder. Requests via email, fax, phone call, USPS mail, and walk-ins will no longer be accepted. All requests must be placed on ScribOrder.

IN-PERSON PICK UP

In-person pick up is available only for approved paid requests through ScribOrder. We cannot accommodate same day pick up due to off-site storage and relocation. However, an email notification will be sent when records/transcripts are ready for pick up.

FEES

If you are homeless or are helping someone who is homeless, no fees will be charged for student records. Correspondence requires a signature from a qualifying official and a phone number where they can be reached. If you have a special circumstance which warrants a fee waiver, please ask to speak with the Student Records Clerk.

If you have not been an RPS 205 student within the last 5 years, your request will take 10 business days to process due to off site storage.

Transfer Records to Another School

If you are a K-12 school seeking transfer of student records from one of the schools in Rockford Public Schools, please submit an order using our online submission via ScribTransfer. We no longer accept fax, mail, email or verbal requests for records.

Special Education Records
