We are thrilled to announce that Mr. John Cusimano has been recommended as the new principal of the College and Career Education Center (CCEC), approved at the January 21, 2025 Board meeting.
With 14 years of experience as an assistant principal at Jefferson, Mr. Cusimano brings a wealth of leadership and dedication. He will begin immediately, focusing on communication, staffing, and fostering relationships with stakeholders.
The CCEC, opening in fall 2025, is a transformative initiative designed to provide all high school students with equitable access to cutting-edge labs, advanced equipment, and career pathways. By removing barriers and expanding opportunities, the CCEC empowers students to pursue their passions and prepare for their futures in high-demand fields like culinary arts, biomedical sciences, and more.
We value your input in shaping such vital decisions. Stakeholder engagement has been a cornerstone of this process, involving students, parents, teachers, community members, and industry partners through workshops, surveys, and committees over the past year. This collaboration ensures the CCEC reflects the diverse needs and aspirations of our community.
