I have had the privilege of volunteering at East High School with the Boys and Girls Wrestling Program since my graduation in 2017, totaling eight years of service. Additionally, I contribute my time to our youth wrestling club.
The motivation behind my volunteering is a strong desire to help and create opportunities for the youth in our community. I aim to be a positive influence in their lives, guiding them not only in sports but also in their personal development. It is incredibly rewarding to support them in achieving their goals, while also helping them learn valuable life lessons from challenges they encounter along the way.
I have witnessed many of our students pursue higher education, join the military, or enter the workforce directly after graduation. Our primary objective in the program is to nurture our athletes on the mat while also fostering their growth into responsible and engaged citizens by the time they graduate.
