Jefferson High School – April 4, 2025
The Jefferson High School Athletic Department is proud to announce that three of our student-athletes have officially committed to continue their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level. A special signing ceremony was held on campus earlier today, drawing a crowd of over 100 supporters—including teammates, coaches, family members, and teachers—who gathered to celebrate the accomplishments of these outstanding athletes.
Jordan Reed has signed with Western Texas College, where he will join the men’s soccer program. Jordan has been a key contributor on the field for the J-Hawks, earning recognition for his athleticism, leadership, and work ethic.
Sareth Marquez will continue her athletic career with Rock Valley College, competing in women’s soccer. Sareth has consistently exemplified what it means to be a student-athlete, balancing her academic responsibilities while making a significant impact on the pitch.
Dreyln Black is headed to North Central University, where he will join the men’s basketball program. A dynamic presence on the court, Dreyln has played a vital role in the success of our basketball team and has served as a leader both on and off the floor.
The Jefferson community celebrates these student-athletes and looks forward to following their journeys as they take their talents to the next level.
